>>[we are all made of stars]
:Ooh, a new section for me to write in. Visits to other sites on the lovely internet- including mainly, if I'm honest, www.moby.com, made me realise that I haven't been looking after the whole "webdiary" side of this site very well. So I'm gonna try to update this bit as often as possible: if it doesn't happen, I'll have to have another rethink. My life is so exciting.
:Talking of updates, apologies for their conspicuous absence for the past week or so. Our regular reader(s) will know the reason well enough though: the week-long slog through an entire stats project. It took its toll - sitting in a hot room full of computers every day for a week isn't really my idea of fun, computer scientists everywhere - although some good things did come out of it. Firstly, the discovery that coffee is, in fact, a Nice Thing; secondly, the whole doing all-the-coursework type thing; thirdly, and most importantly, the necessary celebrations that the culmination of such a project duly entail. These were good ones, and involved the drinking of muchos cocktails, eating lardy food, and buying new CDs and clothes. So I'm feeling much better now, thanks, and can spend the next week dossing and doing arty things like update this website. No. More. Stats. Phew, eh?
:If you saw me in the computer room whilst I was doing the stats - and cheers to those of you who did - you'll have seen me in various stages of caffeine addiction, beard growth, and temporary madness respectively as the week went on. So that's why I'm so glad it's all over. I can be arty again now! Hurrah!
